Subsurface Evaluator
(Position 005-07-SSE-05-21-07)
Job Description

• Operates groundwater pump-and-treat and soil vapor extraction systems
• Collects soil and groundwater samples
• Identifies glassware for sampling and prepares chain-of-custody forms for laboratories
• Prepares field notes, Soil Log Forms, Monitoring Well Sampling Data Forms, and reports
• Conducts subsurface evaluations, installation, and closure at UST sites
• Evaluates subsurface conditions and proposes remedial actions, generates tank closure and remedial action reports
• Conducts investigations involving the construction of monitoring wells, installation of soil borings and well points, groundwater sampling, and laboratory analysis for hydrogeological and environmental characterization
• BA/BS degree in geology, engineering, or related science
• NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator License
• 3 years of applicable experience
• Background Check Required

Water Well Drilling
(Position 005-07-WWD-05-21-07) - Job Description

• Review client requirements and proposed locations for water wells
• Operate water well drilling rigs and other equipment to drill, bore and dig for industrial water wells or environmental assessment, and install well screens, casings and other well fixtures
• Document geological formations encountered
• Clean and disinfect wells in preparation for use
• Perform routine mechanical maintenance work on water well drilling rigs and equipment
• Install, test, maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems and equipment and perform pumping tests to assess well performance
• May provide other drilling services, such as repair or dismantling of existing water well structure, elevator shaft drilling and hydro pole drilling.
• Water well drillers may specialize in a specific method of drilling, such as cable, rotary, auger, hammer or reverse circulation drilling
• Licensed for the NJDEP
• Background Check Required
• Valid Drivers License (CDL Preferred)

Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator (PT)
(Position 003-05-WWTO-10-01-06)

• N3 or N4 NJDEP license required
• Background check required
• Weekends only
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• Applicants with strong instrumentation and controls experience preferred

Health & Safety Training Coordinator
(Position 006-03-HSTC-10-01-06)

• Background check required
• Valid driver’s license
• Extensive safety experience required (OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER, confined space entry supervision, scaffold erection – competent person, lock out / tag out)
• Training experience required

Project Manager
(Position 007-05-PEME-07-01-06)

• New Jersey PE license required

• Experience with air pollution control equipment design, operation and maintenance

• Familiarity with Title V air permitting (PSD, netting, pharmaceutical/tolling batch plants)
